Description
IGF-1 is a biologically active peptide, primarily produced in the liver and muscles, and is the main mediator of growth hormone. It has an anabolic effect and causes muscle hyperplasia. The IGF-1 molecule consists of 70 amino acids and has a short half-life in the body (about 10-20 minutes), which is why it has a short period of action.
