Description

FOXO4-D-Retro-Inverso is a synthetic, slightly modified version of the regular FOXO4 protein. The modification prolongs the half-life of the protein and improves FOXO4 functions. Studies have shown that FOXO4-DRI prevents free binding of FOXO4 to p53, thereby ensuring the elimination of senescent cells, improving organ function and the biological age of younger tissues. FOXO4-DRI affects insulin signaling, cell cycle regulation, and oxidative stress signaling pathways. FOXO4-DRI is a cell-penetrating peptide that selectively induces apoptosis in senescent cells, thereby reversing the effects of aging.
